Originally from Ottawa Ontario, I made the move to start a new life on Cape Breton Island back in the 1980s. Living on the east coast has inspired me to create a website to show off this picturesque island which I called Cape Breton Living. A few years had passed before finally picking up a paintbrush. I am forever thankful to my father for the encouragement. With his hands, he made me a wooden paint box and filled it with tubes of acrylic paint and a set of paint brushes.
